Third Row Seats

Okay, so I know that I've already blogged about football once, but this week when I got my ticket, this is what I saw:

Yes, that really says third row. I was shocked. Of course, being me, I forgot my camera, so all the pictures from the actual game had to be on my phone. Oh well . . . At least I have a phone with a camera. So here goes . . .

This is right before kickoff.

This is right after BYU scored its first touchdown of the game.

I tried to take pictures of the flags after BYU scored a touchdown, but it was kind of difficult because of the movement of the flags. Oh well . . .

This was the first play of the second quarter. The other team had the ball at their own three yard line.

Not only were we the third row, but we were also right next to where the team enters and exits the field. This was the team leaving for halftime.

The scoreboard at halftime. You can't really see it, but I'm pretty sure that it was 20-0 BYU.
Of course, my phone died during halftime, so I couldn't get any more pictures, but it was a really awesome game to go to. It was a lot of fun!

Burnt Out

Okay, so I'm a little burnt out this semester. I have way too much homework, and too many tests and papers. That scripture in Mosiah 4:27 cautions that "it is not requisite that a man should run faster than he has strength," and I am really learning why we shouldn't do that this semester. I just got through a week in which I had six tests (which is more than the amount of tests I'll have finals week, since I had two tests for one class in addition to one tests in each of my other classes). I just finished that mess last night. After not doing as well as I would have liked on some of those tests because I didn't have the energy or the time to study anymore, I thought I was finally getting a break, since I just had at least one test in every class. But life just cannot be that easy. I looked at the very long list of deadlines that I made to keep myself on track and, to my horror, discovered that I have two papers due on Friday. Then I started looking to see when my week with a break from all these tests and papers is, because I assumed that I would have to have at least one week that isn't just filled with tests and papers. Again, life can't be that easy. I have at least two tests and/or papers every week until the end of the semester, with the exception of Thanksgiving week. I only have one test that week. I'm so ready for this semester to just end already, so I can at least get a break.
