Creation

Today in Relief Society, we had a lesson about the Creation. It's kind of similar to every other lesson that we've had this year. So today, our Relief Society teachers got creative and let us create the world out of marshmallows and spaghetti noodles. I was kind of proud of my creations, but I felt like eating the marshmallows, so I kind of destroyed my world and ate all the pieces that held it together. But I at least took pictures first.

I don't know that anyone will be able to tell what any of these are, but I have the Sun, a leaf (we were supposed to depict the trees), a glass of water (we were supposed to make water, and that was the best way that I could think of), a mountain, a tree (which was taller than the mountain), a person (which was also taller than the mountain, although I could not get the picture to rotate where it was facing upward instead of sideways), and the world (which has kind of an odd shape, but what could I really do?). So that was my universe, which was very fun to make and also very fun to eat.

It's been a really hectic couple of weeks, and finals are coming up, but I finally have just a few minutes. So here's an update on what's been going on while I've been so busy.
We had a really amazing forum by Jim Lovell (commander of Apollo 13). That was really amazing. So, of course, some friends and I watched the movie Apollo 13 that weekend to compare what Jim Lovell said about it and what the movie portrayed. That was a really neat experience, too.
School's just been really busy. I've taken a few tests, written a few papers, done a lot of French homework, and overall just been really busy. I'm getting ready to come back home, which is really exciting. And I'm getting in as much time as I can with my friends before we have to say goodbye for the summer and all the boys go on missions. Oh, well... at least one of the boys has said that he'll write back if we write him, so we'll see about that.
And I watched conference this weekend. That was really good. I definitely enjoyed that.
So that's the story for the past few weeks. And now I just get to get ready for finals.
